The stud tops are backed with hypoallergenic surgical steel posts & clasps, and the silver hoops are also hypoallergenic surgical steel. So they're great for even sensitive ears. 

The studs top dangles measure 55mm in total length, the hoops are 57mm, and they're both 30mm at their widest points.
